Name: John Hutsell on Nov 5, 2002State: GACountry: USComments: I also believe Holmgren has worn out his welcome in the Seahawks organization and should be replaced if seattle losses 10 games or more a 7-9 record is pushing it, but w/o a "real" starting QB 7-9 is ok.Flag

Name: Bonnie O'Boyle on Dec 17, 2002State: PACountry: USComments: Agree with you that Holmgren should be replaced. His record in Seattle shows how much of his success was due to Green Bay GM Ron Wolf, the fellow who brought in Brett Favre and ran brilliant drafts. I don't understand this trend among coaches to want to do every job--coaching itself is 70 hours a week!Flag

Name: Ryan Adams on Jan 2, 2003State: ORCountry: USComments: I also believe Mike Holmgren should get fired. He's had 4 years to build a team and his record is a combined 31-33. The Seahawks have only been to the playoffs once with him (Lossed to the Dolphins in '99 AFC wildcard game.) They need to bring in someone else. Maybe Marvin Lewis.Flag

Name: William Ludlow on Nov 9, 2003State: WACountry: USComments: Mike Holmgren can't seem to find out what the problem is. The Bengals were able to develope Kitna. The problem is not the quarterbacks. The Seahawks have no offensive line and no pass protection on the defense.Kitna as well as Hasslebeck do not have time to set-up a pass.Flag

Name: Dale Cunningham on Dec 22, 2003State: WACountry: USComments: I am totally baffled why Holgren keeps leaving Matt Hasselbeck in as quarterback. He reminds me of a 14 year old in a body of a 26 year old. He does not have a clue what to do to get people to follow him. That quality is down the road a bit. Trent is proven the better qtarterback. Why does Holgren have him on the benchFlag

Name: Aaron Samson on Oct 17, 2004State: WACountry: USComments: I agree with the petition to fire coach Mike Holmgren. However my reason differs a little from this petition. My reason is mainly based on the fact that Holmgren as head coach has made a huge mistake in choosing his starting quarterback. Trent Dilfer should be the starter and should have been the starter since his arrival to the team. He has proven himself not only as a superbowl winning quarterback but as a outstanding human being. Everytime he has started for the seahawks he has performed better than what his counterpart Matt Hasselback has done. The fact is the Seahawks will never win a superbowl with Matt Hasselback at the helm. He chocks under pressure and he doesn't have the arm that Dilfer has. When it comes to football Matt Hasselback is a loser and Trent Dilfer is a diffenent winner. Its to bad that Holmgren's stubborness is preventing Dilfer from having his day with Seattle. I am just about certain that Seattle would of had a least one superbowl crown under its belt, if not two, with Dilfer quarterbacking the team. Fire Mike Holmgen unless he finally comes to his senses about Trent Dilfer.Flag

They build them a billion dollar stadium each with rich owners and they still can't win. I say fire them all including Gilbertson.Flag

Name: Jay Goodwin on Nov 14, 2004State: AZCountry: USComments: This is Holmgren's plan: Go to Seattle. Bring in is boy Matt Hasselbeck, a backup QB. Turn him into a great QB. Win a Super Bowl with a QB you molded and win it without Brett Favre. His stupid egotistical, self-centered plan is killing the Seahawks. He has the BEST running back in football that no one knows about and a great run blocking line. But he doesn't run the ball. He tries to mold a BAD, OVERRATED passing game into a winner to bring himself praise. Why are they putting emphasis on a backup QB and two staring receivers that cannot even catch the football. Start giving Alexander 25 carries EVERY game and use Hasselbeck, Jackson, and Robinson only for play-action and misdirection. Please fire Mike Holmgren.Flag

The Seahawks were idiots for hiring this genius. I would go down to LSU and persuade Saban to take over this ship wreck.Flag
