we finally got the news that cindy marten is out and i honestly cant believe it. thank you for staying with me through all this because we really did it. lets keep paying attention to what happens next at the district so things actually start to get better.

Superintendent Cindy Marten has betrayed all the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Stakeholders, especially the Students, by helping CONVICTED Former Trustee Marne Foster cover up her fraudulent activities in the SDUSD, being appointed as Superintendent in secret session as a violation of the Brown Act and creating a 124 million dollar budget deficit thought her financial mismanagement. Since the SCPA and Marne Foster debacle, Marten has failed in virtually every area as Superintendent:
- Performed Improper and potentially illegal acts to deny $220,000 of Lincoln High School Title 1 funds approved by the SSC to be spent on a highly effective Math tutoring program for students and then proceeded to implement a coverup of the misdeed with leadership cronies.
- Allowed the suspension of SCPA Counselor Kim Abagat.
- Sanctioned the removal of SCPA Principal Mitzi Lizarraga.
- DID NOT file a complaint with the District Attorney for Foster's illegal actions and actually COVERED IT UP and DID NOT report it to the SDUSD Board of Education or the San Diego Grand Jury and actually refuted it by saying that controls were in place and nothing was wrong
- Has hired Principals that have falsified credentials and allowed student sexual assaults on campus.
- Through financial mismanagement, has created a historic 124 MILLION DOLLAR BUDGET DEFICIT in 2017.
- Testing oversight and Central Office operational mismanagement leading to the invalidation of AP test scores for over 500 Scripps Ranch High School Students.
- Did not have the required professional credentials to be appointed Superintendent by the Board of Education in a secret session in violation of the Brown Act.

Finally!!!!! Cindy Martin allowed and denied numerous offensive, threatening, & direct attacks to parents, teachers & students at Perry Elementary by Principal E. Austin. My livelihood & reputation was slandered while truth and records hidden & denied in court. Get her OUT.
Cindy Marten has displayed extreme incompetence by not even articulating a plan to reopen schools as all other neighboring schools reopen. She needs to be fired.
Mrs. Cindy Martin turned a BLIND eye to all of the terrible treatment from principal Sra. Sanchez, that students and parents of color were forced to endure at Longfellow Elementary. We contacted the board of education and still nothing was done. We went through hell under Sra. Sanchez managment and our children suffered greatly.
Way out of her league. Has built up huge and highly paid tiers of staff to handle what she doesn't understand, which is most of what it takes to educate children and work with teachers, Ridiculous inept Board bypassed the eminently qualified & well experienced Nellie Meyer, EdD.
Given the actions of the District during her administration, Cindy Marten does not have the know-how, ethics, and compassion needed to run the District effectively, honestly, and LEGALLY with the safety of all students and staff in mind. REPLACE her with someone more ethical and competent!
Take The Criminal Networking Predators To Jail. End Preying On Children!! Target These Predators Now!! Too Many Allowed For Too Long!! Clean House.
Supporting Ms Love and outright hatred and racism. In a multi ethnic extended family, it's outright repulsive.

Since Martin has been superintendent, a lot of abuse with special ed students has been ignored!! We have some of the worst principles in her schools that multiple staff have reported. These principles are still in place with a secure job is long is Martin is superintendent. Her practices are shameful it best!!
