This is a petition to fire Steve Collins the head football Coach. There is alot of talent on this team and it's not be utilized to it's full petential . We are a 6 A football team that shouldn't be getting beat by 50 or more points . If you look at other 6A school , you will find that they lift weights everyday . On the off season he does have them lift but its not to the level that a 6A needs to be lifting . We are on our 2nd strength and conditioning coach . The coach they have now is a Olympic strength and conditioning coach . The head coach Steve Collins will not give him the time everyday to let these kids lift . We are spending 20min a week to lift 100+ kids. We do not condition before or after practice . We want to run the same defense 3-5 all the time . He plays the same kids every game , we have a 2nd string on offense and defense but you never see them kids get a chance to show everyone they can play . This coach is to worried about looking good on the field with new uniform . Just so everyone know last year the booster spend a little over $20,000 on one set of new Nike uniforms . This year he decided he didn't want the booster to control his money , so he keep the money from the liftathon fundraiser and the Goff Scramble. The problem with that is he and his wife handled all the money . There wasn't anyone from the booster to verify how much money was raised . The coaches should have had other people handle the money and had people sign off on ever dollar that was raised.It's been said that this year we raised a little over $36,000 . This year all the coach got more new shoes and cloths because we are now sponsored by Adidas. If everyone didn't notice we got 2 more sets of uniforms this year and had our helmet painted. This is Coach Collins comment to the kids after the got beat by Henry Clay . When I scheduled these games last year I thought we would be able to beat them, but I guess I under estimated our team potential this year. How can you tell the kids it's your fault when they are under your control and you are the one giving them guildiance . These are the reasons you should sign this petition if you feel the same way! Coach Collins isn't a good positive role model for these kids The coaches always tear these kids down but never builts them up Coach Collins lies to these kids
