As a dedicated Nets fan, I am calling for the firing of Billy King on these charges:

1. The trade of Derrick Favors (an All-Star candidate now) for Deron Williams (a bonafide bum)
2. The trade of the Damian Lillard draft pick (All-Star) for Gerald Wallace (washed up and out of the NBA)
3. The Paul Pierce/Kevin Garnett trade, which sent Boston to the top of the Eastern Conference and is sinking Brooklyn to the bottom
4. The fact that Billy King looks to save money on key players (Mirza Teletovic, Mason Plumlee) by trading/ending contracts and signing possible replacements (Bogan Bogdanovic, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson)
5. The constant PCP smoking in the Nets front office
6. The disconnect between the front office and great coaches (P.J. Carlesimo, Jason Kidd, soon to be Lionel Hollins)
7. The PERSISTENT rumors of trading Brook Lopez, without whom the Nets will certainly fold as a franchise

Billy King has made many stupid trades -- one of the most famous being trading Allen Iverson for washed up veterans in Philly. Billy King's philosophy has been all about signing stars that are just out of their prime in hopes of seeing prime performances on the Nets. Some of these projects include Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. End the madness today and sign this petition.
