Master of Magic is an exceptional game that extended the 4x experience we all came to love with Civilization. Master of Magic added heroes, magic, unique race units, a powerful (and challenging) mirror world, magical items, and much more. This game was created 26 years ago, but is still enjoyed by many today, thanks to DOS BOX. Although there have been attempts to create similar titles, such as Shadow Magic, Elemental War, and various Civilization mods, these titles are not suitable replacements for such an epic game. Given the similarity in game play with the Civilization series and the profound production value in Firaxis' titles, we humbly request that Firaxis release an official "Master of Magic" expansion for Civilization 5. There is tremendous creative potential in converting civilization to a magical fantasy realm. There is also financial potential, not only in reusing a tested game engine, but in filling a void for gamers that have been throwing money away at lesser titles in vain hopes of regaining the experience provided by the original title. This is a plea from loyal fans to not let a classic die in obsolescence at the hands of mediocre clones. We believe Firaxis is the studio with the creativity and vision required to revive this game. We hope that you can create a new cult classic upon which future generations will crave, beyond the already fantastic titles of Sid Meier's creation.
