After seen this last Olympic Games we realized that is unfair that our sport is not inserted in the program of Summer Olympics Games, with his "most famous brother" swimming.
We have seen a lot of sports with less nations than us and, more important, less spectacular than us.
So with this petition we want to claim the place that dues to us in the Summer Olympic Games!
In Olympic Charter is written: \"Only sports widely practised by men in at least seventyfive
countries and on four continents, and by women in
at least forty countries and on three continents, may be included in the programme of the Games of the Olympiad\". Well,we don\'t have the first request for only 8 countries,but there are other included sports in the same situation! It is also said that: \"Only events practised by men in at least fifty countries and on three continents, and by women in at least thirtyfive countries and on three continents, may be included in the programme of the Olympic Games\". Maybe we don\'t cater to this request for all our events,but it\'s also true that many other sports included in the program of the Olympics don\'t cater to this too!
Also: \"A discipline, being a branch of an Olympic sport comprising one or several events, must have a recognised international standing to be included in the programme of the Olympic Games\".
The question now is: \"How can a sport like ours, which needs the Olympics more than anyone else to have an international standing, be included in the program!!\"
