Huntingdon College states in their Faculty Handbook that, "The nature and content of the final examination is the prerogative of the instructor, but all classes must have some form of final exam at the time scheduled, unless otherwise approved by the Academic Dean." This means that Huntingdon requires mandatory final exams. I think it's time to that Huntingdon revised their final examination policy to cater better to the needs and abilities of today's student. Wouldn't it be great to get to exempt a final exam? Or how about if you could do a project or paper instead of a final exam? More and more colleges across the world are starting to offer this so why shouldn't Huntingdon? Sign this petition today if you would like to see more assessment options rather than a final exam.
