Updated 20th January Thanks for the support of those who have already signed the petition. The West Lothian Courier are doing a story about the increased fees in this weeks edition (21st January 2010). I believe letters are being sent out to parents to sign an agreement to agree/disagree to the first 10% increase on 1st February. It is parents decision whether to sign the acceptance but personally I will not be signing anything either in agreement or disagreement until the fees are revised as I feel even a 10% increase is unacceptable and I am unsure of the consequences of signing to disagree as this may have an impact on my contract. The last increase was April 2008 and this was 2.5%. Although fees were frozen last year the 10% is 4 times the rate of inflation and standard cost of living increase.
