How stupid do you have to be to go after a billion dollar international company with an eccentric front man whose obvious response is going to be "fuck off"!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 2, 2007Comments: Hello, I am Kurt Slep, CEO of Sound Choice. We were named in an early suit by them (along with such giants as Napster and Real Network). They sued the two on-line giants for infringing their patent "for delivering karaoke over the internet". Of course the patent doesn't describe ANY technology, but it more of an idea! (WEll, I guess they got the concept from Al Gore that they can claim to have invented everything this side of the 19th Century. ) Our "crime" in the matter Sound Choice "induced" Napster and REal to violate their patent by providing karaoke music content, therefore we were "contributory". So, they not only have a bogus patent, but they are trying to snare companies who "induced" the infringers to do so. We are still fighting them because we simply can't afford to settle. Even though we are not guilty of anything, their tactic of using the threat of costly litigation to get small companies to settle is vile and disgusting. But, if they had accepted a "reasonable" offer we would paid the extortion fees. But they got too greedy and are asking for 25 times what would have been reasonable IF we had infringed. Glad to see you hacking at these idiots. Kurt SlepFlag
