As a result of the devastating Black Saturday fires VicForests plans to amend Timber Release Plans to meet their "...current sales commitments, and contractual harvest and haulage obligations" and log more forest. Their proposed TRP's include "242 new native forest coupes* and roadlines" with a further amendment to "56 coupes and roadlines" currently on TRP's (VicForests, website 2010).

See link attached VicForests link for further information including maps and schedule of coupes.

We the undersigned,

oppose the amendments to the Timber Release Plans (TRP's), which include coupes that will destroy Victoria's unprotected old growth forests.
We value being heard on this matter and hope you will take our concerns into consideration.
