I need help to stop illegal charges to customers from T-mobile. I have had a bad experience with a company I did 11 years of service. I am trying to have $650 of illegal charges removed against me. I am asking my friends and their friends to help my battle to help others. We bought a new home and unknown to us it is in a documented "dead zone" T-mobile does not offer service any where near my zip code. A day before we arrived at our new house after living somewhere that had limited to no service outside of the continental US, I called T-mobile to upgrade our account, renew our contract, and actually get one of the new "smart phone" services. Since this was done over the phone, I didn't know which phones I wanted and was told I could stop at any store to get my equipment. Within 50 miles of our new house we lost all service and found no stores. We arrived thanksgiving day expecting family members to meet us there to help unpack. On Friday I called t-mobile and pretended to be a new customer and asked for a new account. i WAS TOLD i LIVED IN A DOCUMENTED "DEAD ZONE" AND THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE SERVICE TO ME. I then explained I was an existing customer, that 2 days prior I had called to renew my contract and now wanted to cancel it within the legal 3 day cancellation period. I was told by a customer service supervisor they would take care of this and THERE WOULD BE NO FEES. I was told my account would be closed with no penalties. A month later I got my last bill and attache to it were $650 in termination fees' I called customer service again and was told "yes we see the notation on your account, the fees were waived, ignore the bill" A month later I get the same bill. This time when I called there was a notation on my account that the CORPORATE office decided since my original contract from 11 years ago, was started in Florida, that that was my "legal" contract address. I am hoping that consumers of America will help me conquer corporate greed one step at a time and sign this petition to have charges removed. Then I hope to post this all over the internet so others can use this as a basis to have their own charges removed. Please help me and sign this, pass it on and have your friends sign it. Thank you.
