AnonymousAnonymousWhen I heard of this I was shocked! I never thought that this type of injustice can happen in a free democratic country like Canada.
LydiaMazzutoAs a UofT graduate and former student activist in the '90s, I am disgusted that a public institution of higher learning would so actively and aggressively plot to block students' civil rights.

ChristineNugentPart-time College Workers(OPSECAAT)Funding for education must increase to offset the attacks on educational funding for students ,support staff and faculty by previous governments and maintained by the present government at all educational institutions in Ontario. The right to dessent must be upheld on such a just cause. This police activity is sactioned by the state and does not belong in a modern society.

AnonymousAnonymousIt is hard enough for us to pay for these rediculous fees, and now we are being shut down for peaceful protest!
AnonymousAnonymousEvery student should have the right to voice their opinion. The tuition fees are too high. I had to drop out of school because I had no money to pay for school. This portrays Canadian government as corrupted hence there is no value put on education through not allowing everyone to have access to higher education.
HaiyunWangI am enraged to hear such egregious behavior by U of T!! I am a practicing litigation lawyer in downtown Toronto. I am prepared to represent the students on a pro bono basis. Please contact my office asap should you require my assistance. Cheers and keep the good work!

RosemarieMoffittmoffitt@cc.umanitoba.caIncreased fees are a disgrace to the Canadian society when our natural resources at home are denied access to learning and academic pursuits. Human beings are a vital source for growth and development of our economy and stability. Go, Toronto, go! Rosemarie

AnonymousAnonymousDon't we pay enough as it is? The Cost of Living is already increasing, with less money allocated to pay for university tuition, less students will be able to continue their education and even less with no help from the government and the universities. How will the world sustain itself if its next generation is being so suppressed?

LianneDubreuilLocal 2424 - Carleton UniversityThis is again a sign that Universities do not want to honour "Public Education". University Public Education should be open to all and not for an elite group of people. Students come from all walks of life. By telling the students who were involved that they cannot continue their studies or allowing them to work on campus, is stopping their ability to get their funding and do their work. You are infringing upon their right to life.
