1710 SamanthaBernsteinYork University/University of TorontoCanada perceives itself, and is perceived by the international community, as a nation committed to progressive social policy. Continual tuition increases are contrary to these values, and undermine our nation's youth, who struggle under unprecedented debt, and whose opportunities for personal growth and economic contribution are thereby limited.

1713 AndrewMacIsaacUniversity of Manitoba Law Students' AssociationThe quelching of peaceful, civil disobedience should not be the preoccupation of any university administrators. Accessibility to higher education is imperative for any thriving democracy. Further, the engagement of students in democratic activities, of which PEACEFUL civil disobedience has always been critical, should not be treated with hostility. U of T administrators are digging a hole, in which their collective reputation is being buried. SHAME.

1719 MarcoWildeStudents around the world are right now struggling against neoliberal reforms and the privatisation of the education system in 'their country'. We need to unite internationally! Only if we coordinate our protests across the borders we can increase the pressure!! 1727 VenusSayedThis is absolutely despicable behaviour on the part of the University administration that once again hightlights the utter neglect for student rights, and an extreme inability of a student education focused institution to put the rights of its very funders in priority. This is a disgrace and only serves to further increase the discontent and disenchantment of the student populace, one that has been increasing steadily since the start of my involvement with the institution.
1728 HasanSheikhHumanityAbsolutely deplorable behaviour. I still cling to the hope that one day people's voices will be heard and given strong consideration.

1732 SouravDebSFA/MUTESCREAMZCanada is recognized to the world as a democratic haven, where human rights are respected!!! However, this situation is a direct violation against the human rights code of Canada, we all have the right to peacefully protest!! disgusting, David Naylor is acting like a true colonizer!! we want Justice, which means 1)The charges against all the 14 get dropped 2) David Naylor is forced to resign due to his misrepresentation to campus lifestyle.
1733 Tk MawuliAzagloWilfrid Laurier Universitystudents make the most active part of the university and their views should be considered regardless... if we all have freedom of expression and the demonstration was a peaceful demonstration, there is no cause for arrest... uhuru!!!
