Fight for Sam. Campaigning for Quad Bike Safety.
As it stands in Australia there is no requirement for the rider or passenger of a quad bike or ATV on private land to wear a helmet or be of minimum age. On October 2nd 2011 my 11 year old son left for a sleep over at a friend’s house and never came home. He had an accident riding a 500cc Quad Bike. He was thrown from the Quad not having the physical strength or weight to control such a large bike and died instantly of major head injuries; Sam was not wearing a helmet at the time and was also unsupervised. All of which is not against any laws. It will now be my life’s mission to fight for Sam, so no other child has to die in such a way and no other family has to live with the pain of losing their child in such a heartbreak devastating accident.
