Comments: BSL or DOL is like trying to solve a problem by killing one of its symptoms. Like cutting off ones nose so he can't sneeze. People the main problem is crime(mainly larceny and home invasions). I love pets, but i wouldn't keep one that eats more than me and yet i have to clean up after it, if my life didn't depend in some way on it. The First three lines of the Constitution of T&T talks of the right to safety.(now i am not saying that one must be safe at the expense of another. i am not saying yes to stupid negligence.) So you can't be "garranteed" good police response, the right to bear arms is a no no, and now it is close to impossible to own a dog that can protect you. So what, we're being govern by terrorist here or something? People its already hard to stop bandits in this place already, you mean you will give them free reign on the poor now? So then safety is for the rich? Is that what the legislature is saying? Including accidents that's not reported, automobiles kill and injure a couple hundreds each year. I don't see bans on vehicles that can go over the nations stipulated speed limits. Or is it like other laws that nobody up holds,(J walking, defecating in public etc.) So its a wasting time and money on laws that make little sense season.? People there is nothing; besides when T&TEC tek yuh current(no insults meant), that is more inviting to a bandit like an unguarded yard.. People be wise. Think this right out. What T&T need is the hardest of legislation to deal with criminals, and the heaviest of police presence all over the country, or else we are SPINNING THE PROVERBIAL TOP IN MUD.....

Comments: i disagree the act because it is breed specific, the pp government is trying to play god by eliminating a whole breed and $250,000 is unreachable for middle class citizens like my dogs. I love my dogs they are like my children and i will go to any lenghts to protect them. Ivoted for the pp government in the last election but never more if they pass the act as is.

Comments: Immediately our careless citizens are abandoning their animals!!! I support the implementation of a Dog Ownership Law that holds owners responsible and accountable for treating dogs right, giving proper care, homes, etc to them, training for the larger breeds, and implementing "Animal Cops of TT" where owners will be held accountable for their irresponsible actions!
