    Comments: I grew up a Cardinal fan Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Mike Shannon Tim McCarver, Curt Flood, Dale Maxviel, Julian sorry if i forgot some there was so many good ones. In the 80's it became the boys in blue. Willie Mcgee took over the mantle for those past hero's. He was kinda like all of them all rolled into one great Cardinal hero. It was nice for Bob Forsh to throw out the pitch at World Series. Now he' s in heaven. Darn it, it's time to Retire Willie Mcgee's jersey, he is and was and always will be that Man who made the road runner look slow. Go Cards. Lou and the two Bob's and Stan are and were and always will be naturals, Willie is the hard working red white and blue collar hard working Man. Dizzy, Stan, and Willie. Make it happen yesterday.
