Assume that countries buy europian or south american teams to play as thier national teem. Then the world cup is going to be between european and south american teams, no African and no Asian team.Flag

Name: Beh Nam on Mar 9, 2004State: INCountry: USComments: The switching of nationalities without having any sort of relation to a country is absurd! I have no objection to the switching of nationalities if a player has some ancestry from that country or if he has lived there for as long as required by the laws of that country (5 years in most cases). But the case that Qatar is bringing up is a threat to the true meaning of Nationalism and will severely degrade the quality and true Meaning of International competition.Flag
