Comments: SUV registered to Dept. of Treasury? Doesn't sound like a get out of jail free pass to me, which is where the driver (and those covering this up) should be going. Two wheeled motorists don't deserve the raw end of the stick just because some numb nuts involved in politics has connections. Let's not turn gotham into "gotham".

Comments: For the NYPD to ignore the testimony of eyewitnesses is completely intolerable. A proper investigation must be conducted.

Comments: This is a no-brainer. 2 vehicles passing through the intersection at the same time. Someone ran a red. The NYPD could simply say they made a mistake and intend to make it right. It's a lot easier than a cover-up. How about creating some GOOD press for yourselves, NYPD. You might like it.

Comments: Unless a full investigation is done by an independent organization it seems like this will remain unsolved as the driver so far has been absolved from doing anything wrong by the NYPD
