Square Enix has been working very hard on the latest game in their series called "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn." 1.0 wasn't exactly up to par and have since revised and now have "Reborn" the game.

Mr. Yoshida's Official Statement to players "As for same-sex marriage, this is an extremely controversial topic that has been under discussion in the MMO world for the past few years. First we would like to start out with opposite-sex marriage, and then consider the feedback from our players in order to make a careful decision.I can’t say whether or not it will be possible at this point in time. I’d like to keep dialog open with our players as we deliberate the matter."

This petition is to inform Naoki Yoshida, Square Enix, and all other Square Enix companies and associated companies with Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn that we the customers feel this is NOT a controversial topic and to ask them being as we are paying for this great game to do any of the following:

The first option: Allow Marriage equality period, this includes Opposite Gender Marriage, Same-Gender Marriage, Multiple Spouse Marriage. [For multiple allow them to do so but if any bonuses are granted just simply follow whoever marries in the game gets the same bonuses as if 1 spouse etc]

The second option: Do not even bother implementation of marriage. If SE is too afraid to take a leap of faith and support their fans and customers they shouldn't even allow marriage to begin with.

We the customers feel this topic is nolonger controversial at least as  Final Fantasy Customers and ask SE to allow all or nothing.
