Comments: For many years, FFB has been both a credit and vital asset to this country's export drive. Without it, the UK economy will be the poorer at a time when that can least be afforded. DEFRA officials should think again!

Comments: Please find the funds to support the British Food and Drinks industry. We have worked tiredlessly to make British Food exports the success it is to day. We would not have been been able to do it without the support of FFB. Any other country supports its industry, why not Britain!

Comments: We have utilised the services of FFB and the International Offices for many years and continue to do so. Without the assistance and expertise provided by FFB, we would not have been able to build our successful export business to the level at which it stands today. As a previous recipient of FFB's Exporter of the Year Award (2005), we cannot praise too highly the work performed by FFB nor stress too strongly the key importance to us and other exporters of FFB's role. We believe it is a serious mistake to disband the organisation and would ask that this decision be rescinded immediately.

Comments: The closure of FFB by Defra's actions would have severe implications on our sales on both a domestic front and also on the export side of our business. The is a big nail in the coffin for many businesses whom found FFB's involvement as a strategic part in creating sales within UK food manufacturers both big and small.
