For the past several years music festivals in Golden Gate Park have created numerous problems for the residents of the neighborhoods adjoining the Park, including excessive noise, litter, illegal camping, and other anti-social behavior. The recent Outside Lands Concert, held on August 12 - August 14, 2012, is one of several examples of events that have significantly disrupted our lives. We request that the Recreation and Park Department and concert producers find alternative venues for these events or find ways to eliminate the noise and other disruptions they cause should they remain in Golden Gate Park. ...
