To the University of California, Irvine, The Paul Merage School of Business-
The petition of the undersigned students of FEMBA 15:
Argument: We are drawing on the attention of the digital course readers substituting in place of hard course readers for classes, namely addressing the following issues:
- Slow response time of loading the digital course reader (pdf) version specifically navigating through the pages of the file.
- Articles of the course reader have been difficult to read as columns of text are placed page by page and not paragraph by paragraph.
- Some courses do not allow laptops to be open, therefore, some students end up printing the course readers.
As a result, we believe that having a physical copy of the course reader will allow better efficiency for our class and for our courses.
Request: Your petitioners therefore request that an option to obtain hard copies at no extra charge of course readers to immediately address these issues.
