As it stands right now, FEMBA students do not have access to GSHIP, the UC sponsored health insurance plan provided to full-time MBA students. FEMBA students are not provided this insurance coverage because it is assumed that they are covered by their employer. However,FEMBA students that participate in On-Campus Recruiting are forced to quit their job, thus forgoing their health coverage. With this petition, we hope to give FEMBA students access to GSHIP if they are put in this situation. With enough support, I hope to take this issue to our class representatives and ultimately the Anderson administration.
