Name: Marjorie Moorhead on Jun 25, 2007Comments: I am 89 years old, my daughter drank alcoholically for 25 years and becasuse of a recovery home similar to the one proposed in Oceanside she now has 16 years of sobriety. At the time she got sober she had been an Oceanside resident for 18 years and luckily, Escondido offered the services she desparately needed. Unfortunately my son was not so lucky. I found him upstairs in my home the day before his 52nd birthday. He had literally drank himself to death. Please support this desparately needed program.Flag

In the last 16 years I have witnessed many fine examples of The Fellowship Center. I know it as a place that men can go to turn their lives around. Although I have never lived there, I have many fine friends that have been through the center and have maintained many years of abstinence from alcohol.
