Name: Anonymous on Jul 26, 2008Comments: By allowing the return of these pups to this woman, they are being guaranteed a life of misery. The court, with its decision, is really doing this woman a favor by restoring the health of these pups at no expense to her and taking sick and neglected dogs off her hands. This woman may also be guilty of wire fraud by altering photos of dogs for sale on her website, deceiving potential customers. These dogs need JUSTICE, not merely having the law applied.Flag

Name: Marsha Donelson on Jul 26, 2008Comments: What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.Think occasionally of the suffering of which you spare yourself the sight. IT IS UNCONSCIONABLE to allow these severely, inhumanely treated dogs to be returned to the totally irresponsible breeder who has no soul, nor a conscience. DO THE RIGHT THING, PLEASE, and represent the furry friends who have no voice and who are forced to live in torture every single moment of the day and night.Flag

Name: Sandra Kerrick on Jul 26, 2008Comments: How about "An eye for an eye" Put her in a cage barefooted with 6 or 7 other puppy-mill breeders and leave them all there, treating them as they treated their little ones. Giving those babies back to her is no different than rescueing physically abused children from their guardians just to give them back saying it's ok to continue abusing them because people who care will pay for the Dr./ER bills that will arise from all future abuse. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING THIS IS INSANE!!!!Flag

Name: Kimberly Niebrugge on Jul 26, 2008Comments: I can not believe that a judgement would be made to put those animals is care of a person that has no regard for a living animal. Evidence proves this person is not adequately caring for these animals yet they are being sent back. What message are you sending to millions out there What are message are you sending to those trying o save these animals and the people that have given thousands of dollars to protect these animals from people like her. Please do not return these animals, and make it so she can never hurt another again. Their lifes depend on your actions.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 26, 2008Comments: As a volunteer that has worked with these dogs I can attest to their physical and psychological damages. I have seen things that bring me to tears that little dogs, young or old should not have to endure. This women should not be allowed to own even 1 dog. She does not respect life enough to care for them properly. They are just beginning to heal and learning how to be a dog. To put ANY of them back in her hands is assigning them to a life of pain and suffering until they too become as sick as the ones she damaged and no longer wants to keep.Flag

Name: KATHLEEN WILSON on Jul 26, 2008Comments: To return any of these dogs to conditions as deplorable as that of a Nazi concentration camp it utterly horrifying to me. Ms Hughes is NOT going to change her ways; anyone who would do something this despicable to a living creature to begin with will indeed do it again, as soon as she thinks that eyes are off of her. I've seen these types of cases happen over, and over, and over again. I plead with the courts - please overturn the ruling by Judge Myra Scott McNary. Sincerely, Kathleen WilsonFlag
