She already proved this. I don't understand how anyone with a heart could return those poor dogs to a life of hell. SHAME ON YOU JUDGE

Name: Anonymous on Jul 25, 2008Comments: It is a disgrace that 60 dogs get to be in the hands of Teresita Hughes, she should never be allowed to own a dog ever again in her life. That this judge ordered her to have the healthiest dogs is outrageous and ignorant. Clearly, she is not an animal lover. These dogs have suffered enough, they cannot go back to that horrible place.

Name: Cathy Jensen on Jul 25, 2008Comments: DO NOT send these beautiful animals back to these horrific conditions ! They need to be protected from people like Teresita Hughes! She sickens me, and needs to be held accountable for her behavior. The dogs can't speak for themselves, and surely do not need to be punished further by the law. It is heartbreaking and absolutely maddening that the law is not protecting animals because of an error. It was an emergency to rescue the dogs, and I feel like it was justified.

Name: Michele Shute on Jul 25, 2008Comments: Please do NOT return these poor dogs to this horrible puppymiller! She does not deserve to own ANY pets. It is very wrong to use dogs as a business and keep them in the conditions she has. I am ashamed that a judge in the USA would return these dogs to such an aweful woman.

Please think about what you are doing and stop before you give her the right to kill more pups.. She has tried to buy more pups on different websites from the US to Germany.. This is a complete outrage.. She needs to be stopped and not just in your state or county but in the whole US.. Stop her from hurting anymore pups.. And make her pay for what she did to all these babies..

This woman should be criminally charges and have all the dogs taken legally from her. She should never be allowed to have another animal for the rest of her life.

Name: Kathleen Ratto on Jul 26, 2008Comments: Pictures speak louder than words. One just has to look at the photos of the Suncoast rescue and see the deplorable conditions the dogs had to endure, including 8 dogs to a tiny cage and the rescuers having to wear masks because of the stench. Do not return these dogs to this cruel and inhumane breeder so she can continue abusing for the almighty dollar.

Name: Tamara Folaron on Jul 26, 2008Comments: Under no circumstances should this woman get those animals! She didn't care for them, want them for the living beings they are. She only wants them for the money making possibilities. Now that we the people have put our own money into the animals we do not want her to have them. In essence they are ours too. We have a vested interest in their well being. Thank you.

Name: Anonymous on Jul 26, 2008Comments: Please do not allow this individual to be near animals. She certainly has little regard for the life of these animals. As stated in the petition, monies have been paid for by outside sources to care for these dogs...but that is secondary to the life of toture that they have lived. To allow these dogs to be returned to this "breeder" would be a total lack of compassion for animal rights. I would respectfully ask that the individuals that can kept these poor animals away from her revisit the decision to return them.

Name: Anonymous on Jul 26, 2008Comments: What a shame this woman gets half of the dogs back that she didn't even take care of in the first place. It is very disturbing that these people only see these little dogs as dollars in their pockets. She should never be allowed to operate this facility. Shame on her.
