Do you own a business? Wither it be a Hotel, Guesthouse, B&B, Restaurant etc. Are you fed up of people reviewing you 'unfairly'? Whenever we receive a bad review, how many times is because the guest asked for a free upgrade and we couldn’t do it, or we were unprepared to 'knock some money of the bill', or perhaps the guest told you how happy they were then unfairly reviewed you online, adding in little extras of their own? How many booking agents out there allow you to respond to comments? Trip Advisor for example let you respond but will not take a fake review off the website. Booking.com and Laterooms.co.uk allow guests to score and review you but you can’t even put a response! The other day in my hotel I had a guest threaten me because I refused to give him discount after his stay, his words "Fine, but I’ll slam you on the Internet". And he has, and he's been allowed to do it. If you like me are fed up with having the bullet constantly put between your eyes by people who are out there to unfairly review you because they can, then join my petition. I intend to take a stand and will pursue this on all of our behalves. After all why these people should be allowed to have an unjust detriment on our businesses that we work so hard for? Why shouldn't we be allowed our say, we pay good money to the online booking agents we sign up with in forms of commission so should have some support from them. Sign my petition and I’ll be the voice for us all.
