| 802 | Heather Clark | The current FDA approval process is a farce! We cannot depend on them to safeguard the health of consumers. Stripping patients of their right to take action when wronged is a violation of due process. Accountability belongs in the hands of the party responsible. |

| 805 | Angie Scherbarth | I am a victim of using Ortho Evra patch and getting 2 pulmonery emboli because I was told "the patch is as safe as the birth control pill" when in fact, it delivered much higher doses of estrogen, which caused my blood clots. Then I found out that shortly after the patch was put on the market, Johnson and Johnson KNEW that it would be delivering much higher doses, but did NOTHING about it. If they can do what they want, without reprecussions, then we better be careful taking an aspirin! Someone has to be accountable, and it should be the drug companies that have the final say on whether the drug they are making millions of dollars on, is actually safe for the public to be using. |

| 809 | Joel M. Kauffman | Corruption and influence at the FDA are so extreme that their drug or device approval means only that the product will not be lethal in the first week, usually. Recent Big Pharma failures in vaccines and statin drugs are perfect examples. Over 90,000 Americans died from antiarrythmic drugs 1988-1995. What more evidence do we need?

I received an infusion which caused the loss of my kidney (which was extremely painful) and 14 blood clots, 6 of them pulmonary embolisms. I was hospitalized for a total of 60 days. Now I have to take very costly injections of heparin for the rest of my life. I was told that this drug might give you a headache or you might feel tired. It nearly killed me and the labeling is still not correct today. My case was dismissed a few days before trial and I have filed an appeal. They also need to have a quicker process to pull dangerous drugs off the market immediately so less people are injured or killed. The pharmaceutical companies need to put people before profits. |
