Name: Melvin J. Miller on Mar 28, 2012Comments: I fully endorse the unification of Fremont County School District #21. As a principal of a charter school in Fremont County I am very aware of the problems and issues that confront a non-unified school district. Unification is the best way to improve the education of all students within the district since it provides seamless k through 12 programming.Flag

Name: Brandon Scott Sanchez on Mar 28, 2012Comments: The unification of Fort Washakie to a pre-K to 12th grade school would enhance the education and bring the community of Fort Washakie closer together and will be a central force that drives the community. The high school, 9-12, would allow our 80-90 freshman each year to stay and study and play sports together as every other community in Wyoming with over 500 students has the opportunity to do so. We shouldn't have to send them to 3-5 options, some of which will not accept some of our students. This is so critical to the survival and revival of the community of Fort Washakie!Flag

Name: Curtis Inman on Mar 29, 2012Comments: I am currently employed by Eastern Shoshone Dept. of Juvenile Services as DFS probation officer/caseworker. I would like commend the efforts of Ft. Washakie Charter High School in providing an educational opportunity for students who would otherwise not be recieving an education. Ft. Washakie Charter offers an educational enviroment suited to the cultural and social needs of it's students. I support unification as it would streamline resources vital to continuing to provide quality education with necessary cultural competence.Flag

Name: Virginia Purdum on Apr 1, 2012Comments: I agree that there is a significant population of Native students whose educational needs would be best met by being able to finish their K-12 education in their own school district. As always, my hope would be that FCSD #21 students would fell welcome to attend school in FCSD #1, and vice-versa. #21 has helped more than a few #1 students cross the finish line, students who would not have made it otherwise.Flag
