Reading The Fault In Our Stars was a very emotional experience, i grew to love each and every character, and the way they were. When the movie was announced i was happy, i knew i couldn't expect the characters i had made in my mind, but i did expect something a little like what John Green actually described. Instead i found out that the actors for the two main roles of Hazel and Augustus, were going to played by poor actors who didn't come anywhere close to the way John Green had described them. I am deeply disappointed and so are many other fans. If this continues on I will not waste my time on a poorly conceived movie that will possibly ruin the book for me, the other fans may or may not feel this way, but i do not want such a sentimental book that forever changed my life to be ruined by a poor portrayal of the perfect characters. This book and author should not be ruined by a absolutely terrible movie, and by the way the cast has turned out, but it probably will be if this goes on. People who read the book are mesmerized by its depend emotional connection, and even though it doesn't relate to us as much as we would wish, it gives us the hope and desire to find a love just like theirs. The book gives everyone out their a little piece of love and appreciation, it makes us strive to have something like that. I will remember this book forever because it truly changed the way i look at life, and i will not be watching this movie due to the characters who i have seen act before, and they are just not at the right emotional level to portray such a demanding role.
