Fathers Rights - Change the law now

The petition

We the undersigned petition the government to review both the law and legal system in relation the rights of fathers, to ensure that the rights of the father are equal to that of the mother both in law and it's application.
Every child needs a dad. The law recognises that children need and deserve both parents to be active in their life: emotional, educational, social and love are all aspects of a childs life that every father should be part of and can give so much in, yet the courts still do not do enough to preserve and uphold the rights of fathers; even in cases where the evidence is compelling the courts still choose to side with the mother, which is absolutely disgraceful in todays modern society. The fact that the views and wishes of the father can be disregarded are a sad idictment on this country. Change the law now.
