Fathers that leave children in the UK and flee abroad to avoid paying child maintenance need too be found and told that they have too pay. How is it fair that a child gets a less than decent start in life, relying on one parental figure and having no way to contact there other parental figure. It is not only hard on the child but the one parent left in the UK taking care of the child can fall into financial difficulty or depression/stress. This needs too stop and the government needs too do more too stop this.
