Name: Ivan Salazar on Jan 23, 2013Comments: This process is too long, sometimes I end up picking up the cards near the end of the semester because I even forget. If we had it available at the beginning of the semester it would be different story. I would pick it up right away and have it with me and avoid inconveniences if I have an emergency or need to visit a doctor, instead of needing to get the letter that proves that I have insurance.Flag

Name: Dyan on Jan 23, 2013Comments: I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS ACTIVITY. WE PAY FOR TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE SEMESTER STARTING, WHY WE CAN NOT GET THE SERVICE WHEN THE SEMESTER BEGINS. IT IS UNFAIR. IS IT REASONABLE WE GET THE SERVICE A MONTH LATER WHILE THE SERVICE ONLY IS FOUR MONTH?Flag

Name: Derek Smith on Jan 23, 2013Comments: I completely agree with this. Being an international student and an EMS professional emergencies happen and you don't get to choose when they happen. It is unfortunate having to wait 1/4 of the semester hoping nothing happens during that time. There is a much better way to go about this whole process to make it accessible to students sooner.Flag

Name: Mariya Vasserman on Jan 23, 2013Comments: I got sick during the winter break and had to see doctor immediately after getting back to Canada. I obviously couldn't do it and I had to pay the doctor and for medicine with cash. I still can't send the claim to SunLife because they will not accept it before they know I paid. I paid for the second semester on October 4th so this is ridiculous.Flag

Name: AtulTyagi on Jan 24, 2013Comments: We need a more proactive approach so that these cards are prepared and issued at the start of the semester. I am sure that the list of enrolled students is prepared and ready when the semester starts. Why cant' we tie this with that or explore ways to eliminate/ reduce the wait time.Flag
