UPDATE: 18/09/13:

For those who haven't yet heard the great news, Lucas Black has officially signed on for Fast Furious 7 (and potentially 8 and 9 too!). Whether or not this petition had any direct impact in the decision making is irrelevant as we have got what we wanted and Lucas' character will return to the big screen! Lucas Black himself has previously acknowledged this petition and thanks all fans for their support. I'd like to personally thank each and every one of you that signed this and hope you enjoy the future of The Fast & Furious franchise now that the missing piece of the puzzle is back... Lucas Black!

This is a petition to make the production/cast/directors/staff of 'The Fast & Furious' franchise aware of the direction FANS of the franchise would like to see Fast & Furious 7 go, by casting Lucas Black as Sean Boswell once again. Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift has two things holding it in place in the Fast & Furious timeline by a thread. 1. Han's character in the following sequels. 2. Dominic's cameo appearance at the end of the movie. Other than this (although it was accepted by loyal fans), it's location, main cast and overall 'feel' of the movie differentiates it from the rest. A problem that couldn't be solved until the post-credit scene of Fast & Furious 6 was revealed... ...The 4th, 5th & 6th movie build-up, leading to the events of Tokyo Drift have set a perfect stage for Fast & Furious 7 to not only be potentially the best Fast & Furious movie ever, but more importantly to the fans who have signed this petition, can make the 7th movie bring in Tokyo Drift closer into the franchise. This can and should be done by including Lucas Black's main character 'Sean Boswell' Tokyo Drift. Lucas' portrayal of Sean, his passion for fast cars, his loyalty to his friends and his dedication to 'Family' make him an ideal and VITAL character for Fast 7 even if for the sake of continuity! The Fast & Furious has come a long way since the original movie in 2001 and just keeps getting better and better with every instalment. Fan's attachment to the 'Family' portrayed brilliantly by the cast, alongside the amazing action sequences put together by the producers & directors make this a unique, emotional investment thrill ride which we never want to end! Myself and the people signed in this petition, as dedicated and loyal fans, want to make it heard that we want Lucas Black in Fast & Furious 7!
