Hi everyone, The profits from the 2nd annual Fashion for Lupus and Other Autoimmune Diseases '09 were a little over $2,000. And of course, the winner of our contest for ticket sales was Jackquie Ferrales with the Nursing Science Students Association at UCI! We will be donating some of the funds raised to the Lupus Foundation of America, LupusLA, and Alliance for Lupus Research. What we have left in our account we will be spending on funding educational programs. If you are interested in putting on a workshop or any other events, please contact us and let us know so that we can help you make it a reality! As of now, we are looking for people to serve on a “fashion show planning committee” and a “non-profit committee.” We need people of various backgrounds and appreciate any time and effort that you can give.
