Comments: Why not only eliminate only Prides Crossing That stop is seldom used, and the people who use it could still go to Beverly Farms. I can understand doing this to save money, because the impact on the community would be somewhat small, but axing both would take a major toll on our community. Public transportation access to the great city of Boston is one of the big reasons it is such a great place to live.

Comments: Have written today to our City government as well as Rep Grant and Sen Berry. This is a ludicrous red herring; the savings, if any, would be miniscule, and the inconvenience, plus added personal and municipal costs far greater, Seems designed to distract the public from real issues by fabricating a "story" about elite No Shore residents bemoaning inconvenience.

Comments: In the tough econimic times ahead, and as many of us age. There is going to be a greater need for trains to get to grocery stores and even to get medicine. Keep our stops please. So of us have no other family menbers that can help us as we age.

Comments: One of the main reasons why I choose to work in Boston is because I can take a train which is walking distance from my house. If you eliminate the Beverly Farms station stop, I will have no other option but to pursue employment closer to Beverly. As it is, I am devoting a minimum of three hours toward commuting time per day by taking the train. If I am forced to drive into Beverly in order to take the train into Boston, I would be adding approximately 40 minutes of additional commuting time to my workday. What would be the benefit of taking this train It is expensive to ride the train, plus I have been late to work NUMEROUS times because of the malfunctioning Beverly-Salem and Saugus River bridges.

Comments: Remove more stations and force more cars onto the roads, which are frankly already a disgrace! The logic and forethought are conspicuous by their absence! At some point the “management”, similarly conspicuous by their inability to actually manage a public transportation system, must surely see sense.

Comments: Our train stop is very important to us. My teenage son used it to go to a cocert in Boston the other evening. As a Mom the train is essential to givoing my son a safe efficient alternative to driving. It is a popular means of travel for his age group. Please keep this important service.

Comments: There are no MBTA personnel at either stop nor ar there any MBTA facilities that need to be maintained, only the ugly billboards that the MBTA has chosen to erect in the neighborhood. The MBTA costs are almost zero and the only costs would be to the 200 commuters who use the stop daily who will have to drive either to another station or to their place of employment. The costs to commuters would be significant and add to the congestion at other stations. This seems like another irrational decision by a challenged agency. If the MBTA proceeds with this idea I will expect a full public accounting for the costs associated with terminating service.
