Comments: These guys (both sides) need to figure it out.....look at what happened to the dotbomb crAZE The same thing can happen to these clowns.....all their talent and no one to pay for it...the average ballplayer makes in one year what , some of use would take a life time, if not several...they have not a clue that it is "us," the fans, that put food on their table....

Comments: Another fan walkout should be started with the date corresponding to 14 days before the announced strike date. To take place whether they strike or not, with the intention of sending a Message to both sides.

Comments: The players are Jacka$$es. They already make more money than God, but they are never NEVER satisfied. If there is a strike, I will never NEVER pay attention to baseball again. I will NEVER buy anything to do with baseball. Let them starve!

Comments: The players are filled with GREED. They make more money than some people make in their whole lives, and some of them make more money in one at bat or one pitching start than people make in a whole YEAR.

Comments: Failure is giving up what you want in the long term so you can have what you want in the short term. A strike would mean a long term loss of an otherwise dedicated fan base for the short term gain of dollars in one's pocket.

Comments: I AM THROUGH WITH BASEBALL STIRKE OR NO STRIKE -THE MERE TALK OF DISRUPTING THE SEASON AGAIN HAS GOT ME RILED UP. I PERSONALLY WENT TO THE BOX OFFICE AT YANKEE STADIUM TO RETURN TICKETS I HAD BOUGHT FOR OCTOBER GAMES (4 SEATS)- I HAVE SINCE SENT ALL MY OFFICIALLY LICENSED MLB ATTIRE, POSTERS, HATS, BOBBLE HEAD DOLLS ETC ETC BOXED THEM UP AND SENT THEM TO THE COMMISSIONERS OFFICE-EXPLAINING I NO LONGER WANTED ANYTHING THAT WOULD ASSOCIATE WITH MLB AND WOULD NEVER ATTEND ANOTHER GAME OR PURCHASE ANYTHING RELATED TO MLB AGAIN. IF WE AS FANS DON'T MAKE A DRAMATIC AND CONTINUOS SHOW OF OUR DISGUST BY BOYCOTTING ALL GAMES AND MERCHANDISE -THEN WE DESERVE TO PAY $10.00 FOR A HOT DOG AND $55.00 FOR AVERAGE SEATS-WHILE WE WATCH OVERPAID AND UNAPPRECIATIVE PLAYERS. I PERSONALLY SUPPORT A WALK OUT AS SUGGESTED ON OTHER WEB SITES -ALL THE FANS ACROSS THE NATION SHOULD JUST GET UP AND WALK OUT DURING THE GAME.STAY STRONG AND DON'T LET US GET THE SHORT END OF THE STICK ONCCE AGAIN- IT'S INCREDULOUS TO BELIEVE THAT HERE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A STRIKE ONCE AGAIN-I SAY FORGET MLB-SUPPORT THE MINOR LEAGUES, OR AND INDEPENDENT LEAGUE-WHERE I'M FROM WE HAVE THE L.I. DUCKS, AND THE BROOKLYN CYCLONES-BOTH PARKS ARE QUITE REASONABLE -NO BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC TO GET THEIR-THE PLAYERS ARE ASSESIBLE-BEFORE EACH GAME THE KIDS CAN GO ONTO THE FIELD AND THE PLAYERS ARE SEATED FOR 35 MINUTES AND WILL TALK WITH YOU AND SIGN WHATEVER YOU ASK THEM TO. I LOVE BASEBALL AND AM THE FATHER OF A 13YR OLD WHO PLAYS IN 3 LEAGUES BUT I'M THROUGH WITH MLB. I HOPE OTHERS CAN FIND THE STRENGTH TO FIGHT BACK THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO VENT-RICK

Comments: I only missed 4 Cubs games since I was 8 years old, and I was at alot of the games I saw. At my school, last "Student Voters Thursday" the topic was "Will you Come Back if the Players strike from baseball again" And the results were 709--I am out for good 60--I will be back. Even the loyal Cub fans (there are almost no Sox fans here) have said they would leave. I said I would leave.

Comments: as a stadium worker in san diego (who lost $1,500 to $2000) because of the 1994 pro basebal strike, i am currently boycotting pro baseball for life and i will never go back so count me in to join your walkout and i have divorced them and will never go back. picket strikes are evil.
