On this website the American people are invited "to use this free service to locate registered sex offenders in their area". It is beyond eye opening and terrifying to say the least. In Canada, the only public information we get as citizens about any type of sex/violent offenders is their release from prison and the area(which is very broad) in which they are going to be residing. This information is even broader considering it is not EVERY one of these types of offenders, it is only those who the RCMP deem absolutely dangerous and are pretty much a guarantee to reoffend. If you agree and would like to support having access to this detailed information in order to take every precaution absolutely necessary to protect your family, children, grandchildren, etc then please sign this petition now and forward it to as many contacts as you can.
