Tough pill to swallow after a 3+ year, 17,300-mile journey.

I keep looking at their old journals and honestly just thinking about how ridiculous it is that they are being dismissed like this after all those miles. It feels like the goalposts just moved while we were already on the field and that keeps bothering me whenever I try to sit down and draft a new email to the office.

17,300 miles is no joke. The excuse given by guinness makes no sense at all. Just recognize them already!
Ridiculous. They did the miles. Give them their record.
This is so unfair to the kids who worked so hard. They did what they said they would do and nobody can take that away regardless of what a book says.
How inspiring for other kids! Shame on them for denying this accomplishment.
Total BS. They changed the rules after the fact. Typical corporate nonsense.
