Football has always been about sportsmanship. Different countries shake hands and come together to partake in a game under one field. Someone always wins, someone inevitably loses, and returns with the hopes of playing better next time. That has always been the nature of the sport, until now.The tie-breaking game set for Wed. Nov 18, in Khartoum had set different parameters and terms .Algerian crowds who were out for blood. In an act of pure barbarism, Egyptian team bus was attacked on 17th of November and were posted on all TV media , the hotel of the Egyptian team was attacked as well by Algerians fans armed with Knifes& swords .on the 18 th just before the game we saw over TV algerian spectators attacking the staduim with knifes and swords , videos were posted over all medias with algerian spectators in the staduim overtaking the seats in the staduim armed with knifes and warning all egyptians & Sudanese spectators and the Egyptian players to be attacked and killed . the Egyptian bus was attacked on his way to the staduim and it was posted life over TV's channels , violence during the game and after the game was reported . a game under the statement of fair play was conducted with an armed algerian spectators showing and lifting knifes and swords , a spectator of a war and terrorist act an atmosphere far away from sports and fair play spirit . After the game Egyptian Fans were severely attacked forced to seek refuge in the homes of Sudanese strangers, in the protection of shops, mosques and churches and many more have been injured. The roads to the airport were blocked, leaving many unarmed Egyptian spectators at the mercy of Algerian thugs in what can only be described as chaos till 5:00AM the next day .The Algerians fan have crossed the lines of bad sportsmanship into the category of terrorism. I believe their actions require retribution, or else they will continue to terrorize, harass and bully every country they play until fans no longer wish to attend sporting events for fear of their personal safety.
