I have leased my apartment in Westlake Village Apartments, Daly City for the past 35 years, my husband and I are now Retired. We have just received a notice for the hightest rent increase ever of $299.60 along with multiple other renters in these 3500 apartments. Help stamp out Greed of this property owner and others who are taking advantage of thousands of home owners now renters by unfairly raising rents and those on fixed incomes. San Mateo County currently has no Rent Control except for East Palo Alto. Unless we ban together to ensure that people are not forced out of their homes,all of us will be effected.
