We urge the government to: - reconsider the 3 years of prison time sentencing that Sonam Tshering has to go through - recognize the contribution that the current Tobacco Act and its lack of clarity has on people's lives - prioritize publicly funded educational program provision for the monasteries and economically vulnerable people to bring them information about various legislative changes The citizens are keen to support an amendment of the Tobacco Act and in order to do this they need the Government to take action now and start with reviewing the sentencing that has been passed down to Sonam Tshering. We pledge our support to defend our laws and defend those that these laws may unwittingly harm.
