   Comments: I live and walk along this route. Drivers disregard the posted 30kph speed limit and ignore the crosswalk at Lillian Rd. This is not just limited to private drivers but buses, commercial and city vehicles regularly speed through this area.

   Comments: I have written to Mayor Lowe regarding this topic previously (May 2007) and I am willing to continue to be part of the lobby until something is done to improve the situation. Someone is going to get seriously hurt one of these days.

   Comments: I fully support the efforts to increase the safety along Fairfield Road. I will continue to take action on this issue until the appropriate changes are made to secure the safety of our families and neighbours in our community.

   Comments: I've seen parents take their kids across the unmarked logical and previously marked crosswalk at Richmond and Fairfield. Removing the lines didn't change the behavior but it did increase the risk. At Fairfield and St. Charles, the sun is blinding - there should be a flashing light indicating a pedestrian crossing, particularly given that people are often sidetracked, having come from the gas station or about to turn into the plaza.

    Comments: There is total disregard for the 30 km/h speed limit in this block and disregard for the "residential parking". Too many cars are parked in this block especially during baseball games with people & kids crossing everywhere.
