It's time for this to "END NOW" The Centreville High School had VIOLATED my Son Constitution Right and also the Principle Campbell and his staffs.Flag

Name: Renee Jawish on Nov 8, 2011Comments: I sent my son to a private school because of the unfair discipline practices at Fairfax High School. He was very disheartened and unable to learn properly in such an environment. He is now in college and doing well. It's encouraging to see that other parents who have experienced similar difficulties are now taking action. Very happy to see it.Flag

Name: Sheila Jennelle on Feb 16, 2012Comments: Just started the process with my son. I do not have words to describe the feels he is feeling and what he is going through. We can not leave him alone form more than 10 min. at a time. Oh my do they know what this is doing. It seems the Zero Tolerance is not working because Centreville High School is soo bad that the kids are rolling joints during class. May God help us...Please pray for us as we are fighting for his life... Kid take ownership of their school, a staple in their life and to some the only thing that they have that is stable. Who would guess that we should of been afraid to send our kids to these schools. Stable, trust, secure is not the case anymore. How will our kids ever trust and respect when it is not being shown to them??? The process is not wrong. I feel so helpless. Our Kids deserve so much more...Flag

Name: Juliana Eldridge on Mar 21, 2012Comments: I feel that every kid deserves a high school education and should be able to learn from their mistakes. This zero-tolerance policy is insane. The people who made up this policy are all hypocrites. There's a good chance that a kid who is expelled from school will be on a downward spiral either to suicide or prison.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 28, 2013Comments: FCPS disciplinary system and procedures are still unacceptable. Involuntary transfers, mandatory 10 day suspensions with recommendations for expulsion for first time offenses regardless of mitigating circumstances, lengthy interruptions in education while the student and family wait for the results from FCPS hearings, it is all too much. And so wrong. Thank you for working for reform.Flag

I want to see ZT replaced as soon as possible with a much more rational approach to discipline.Flag
