I hereby claim that I, (Your Forum Name), have honestly, and with all sincerity pledged to adhere to the following statements.
As a good and mindful developer I promise to never upload or share anything that I myself have not created or have the rights to distribute.
As a creative and thoughtful developer I vow to never download others' work, (commercial or otherwise) without having the rights either purchased or granted to do so.
As a diligent and vigilant developer I will make sure anyone I work with does not allow themselves to let their values be reduced to that of those who commit piracy.
As a caring and reliable developer I agree that illegal activity is never going to complete my dream of game development and therefore I shall abstain from such activities. Period.
As a thankful and courteous developer I will be grateful to anyone who provides assistance or adds to the success of my projects.
I agree with all of the other developers on the list of pledges that piracy is morally wrong, it's illegal, and it's stupid, and as KeithC said: there is NO justifying it.
While I understand that this pledge has no legal binding threshold, I signed this to commit myself to keeping to the good standards set forth by the statements above. The others who have signed this before me, the ones who will sign after me, and I all believe that there is an answer to piracy: moral and ethical restraint. We signed this pledge to do our part.
