Prevent Closing Elmhurst Without Long Range Plan

283 Signatures Goal: 500

(NOTE: Please disregard the request for donation upon signing the petition. Simply press the back button on your browser twice to retun to the petition) We are seeking confirmation that Elmhurst Elementary School students in the Portsmouth School District will not be moved to alternative learning facilities prior to the finalization of a long-term facilities plan being approved and bond financing obtained. We demand a democratic process that examines all options and their consequences PRIOR to the closing of any Portsmouth Elementary School. We would appreciate your support in this measure to ensure that we have a long-term plan in place, funding in hand, and construction plans within acceptable completion dates. These must be finalized prior to student reallocations taking place. Your signature indicates your support of our demand for informed democratic decisions in the best interest of Portsmouth Public School students.
