Facebook had nothing social about its flotation on 18th May even that the popularity of Facebook comes from its users and the content that they place on the website.
Mark Zuckerberg pocketed pocketing some 1.15 billion US dollars (£724.6 million) today after one of the biggest US stock market flotations which made him worth an estimated 19.1 billion US dollars - the 23rd richest person in the world.
The users have not been granted any shares for their effort to upload their private content and build relationships which will be used by Facebook to deliver advertising campaigns for large corporates.
This petition is for Facebook users to claim 5 Facebook shares each as reward for taking part in building up the company.
Let’s get 10 million signatures and show to Mr Zuckerberg the power of Fair Social Media; e-mail it & Tweet it! May the Force be with you!

I really thought this idea might just fade away but your response shows that so many people feel this same frustration. It feels strange to see my little post gathering this much momentum when it is all down to the collective weight of your choices.

Finally someone saying it. Zuckerburg gets rich off our photos and data and we get absolutely nothing but ads. Time for a cut of the profits.
been on here since 2008 and they just keep changing stuff to make more money. we built this site!!!
