Recently there has been a lot of debating on Facebook regarding what should and shouldn't be allowed to be published by it's users (whether it be in groups, fan pages, etc.) There have been many who have set out to "ban" other people's groups simply because they find the content inappropriate or distasteful. But after much discussion, we know that banning content based on our opinion of it is not a suitable solution. Everybody has a right to express their own opinions, sense of humour etc. - but we also realise that there are those who call for a means to control what they are being subject to. To that end, the only logical solution is for Facebook to include a system by which search results can be filtered based on various category/subject tags - and also have content filtered based on the user's age (i.e. an 18+ tag) This petition is being created so that we can build a list of people who agree with this idea and present it to Facebook to show them that this is what their users are asking for.
