People could trade for new cars every three or four years without getting into a financial strain. Ev en low wage workers could make those monthly payments. You could go shopping and there was not a "made in China" any place period. Jap stuff was few and far between. But best of all, Wall St. and big oil had not learned how to be effective at raping the nation with gas prices. Those good old days had cars that could be had for two or three thousand dollars. Gas was selling for twenty to thirty cents a gallon. And there was little danger of America becoming a third world country. Don't let US become a third world country. Gas prices are to high. And Exxon and big oil need to be busted up. Chances are if American people don't wake up and speak up we are well on our way to becoming that third world country. Ron
