It has come across as a shocking revelation to a large number of viewers around the globe that PunarVivah-Ek Nayi Umeed is all set to go off air. PVENU which is one of the finest show on Zee Television has until now, has not received the acknowledgement and recognition that it truly deserves.

Sarita and Raj are in marriage with unhappiness and disillusionment and Raj deciding to get his wife remarried, in the process he himself falls in love with her, but gets separated for various reasons and starts life afresh. The story is not only unique but the characterisation and treatment of protagonists is truly refreshing to watch. Not complete typical saas-bahu saga sans logic but a realistic show which keeps even urban elite audience hooked to the channel, the unexplored domain.

What makes Sarita different? She does not want to escape! She is not a typical quiet, docile Bahu who endures the taunts of in laws without standing up for herself. Bearing the brunt of Raj's resentment towards the circumstances of their marriage, she didn't become withdrawn as most women would have...she is still a strong woman with a mind of her own. Now that is true spunk.

The show started with decent TVT but failed to keep the viewership for various reasons and one is not giving due credit to Divya's character which is widely publicised. Still with little promotion by channel and PH the show maintained to grab the eye balls across the globe with refreshing portrayal of the characters. The show has shown phenomenal growth on TVT's with the entry of Eijaz Khan. Mr. Eijaz Khan has carved a niche for himself as Vikrant Suryavanshi that evolved into an iconic character due to Mr. Khan's in-depth, intricate interpretation, depiction and portrayal of this role, just like all the other classic actors Srishty Rode, Karan V Grover and Parul Chauhan highlighted for their respective roles. By this, we intend not to highlight the actors, but to emphasise the phenomenal acting that has drawn viewers all over the world to this serial timeless, exemplary & colossal performance and novel treatment to the concept. Regardless of the promotions (channel aired last promo on Sarita-Vikrant's marriage), cliched tracks, and ordinary sets without substantial sidetracks the show is maintaining 3600+TVT much ahead of Bade Acche Lagte Hain of Sony TV in the same time slot.

The original concept of re-marriage has just started with both the couples ready to hit the marital life as couple in "true sense". The excitement of marriage, the issues of trust, insecurity and understanding, strengthening relationships is yet to be shown; the original concept is not about re-marriage but life after re-marriage, how the couple complement and complete each other.

It would be a golden opportunity to showcase the much needed classic entertainment, through engagement with four brilliant actors scorching the screens sans any promotion! We hope that the triumphant image we have of Mr. Eijaz Khan as "Vikrant Suryavanshi" and his onscreen chemistry with Srishty Rode has garnered much adoration and TVT; Karan V Grover's and Parul Chauhan has unexplored potential to keep us glued; We hope to watch PunarVivah-Ek Nayi Umeed evolve into another substantial show and request you to give another deserving' chance
